ABOUT Alex Dale
Alex Dale is Principal & Creative Director at Cistern Media LLC. He possesses more than a decade of experience in the design communications industry and has won numerous national design awards in identity, multimedia and print design. Alex has developed identity programs, new media projects, advertisements, annual reports, web sites, CD titles, exhibits, Flash animated presentations, and much more and has experience developing and cultivating national, integrated public affairs campaigns and events.
Alex has developed projects for a number of high-profile clients, including: Universal Studios, Vivendi Entertainment, PhRMA, U.S. Army, Walden Media, Walt Disney Pictures, National Institute of Health, E&J Gallo Winery and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Prior to Cistern, Alex served as the Vice President of Marketing & Communications for Outdoor Expeditions International (OEI), where he was responsible for the company’s national magazine and television program, as well as its tradeshow circuit and partnership efforts. Before that, he worked as the Senior Creative Director for LRG, Inc., where he managed projects for clients such as the Department of Commerce, CVS/Pharmacy, Department of Labor and the National Endowment for the Humanities. In addition, Alex worked in the public affairs practices at Burson-Marsteller and The Carmen Group, where he assisted on clients including Citigroup, Raytheon, The Children’s Scholarship Fund, ADVO’s Missing Children’s Program, and the U.S. Department of Treasury.
Alex received a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and Speech Communication from Denison University. He lives with his wife and son in the Atlanta, GA area.
